Ranong, Thailand links the sourrounding countries of the Andaman Sea and the Indian Ocean with those of the Gulf of Thailand the South China Sea. Ranong is aproximately 600 km south of Bangkok and 300 km north of Phuket (opposite the most southern tip of Myanmar).
